"Ivan and the pony started their search for the ring at the ocean shore, where they encountered Chewdo-Youdo, a huge monster whale who had been beached there for ten years. Poor Chewdo-Youdo was barely alive. Holes and scars ravaged his body. A growth of trees had sprouted on his tail. There was even a small peasant village on his back."
